Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation surrounding 18-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Lennart Karl. The transfer of the German wonderkid could become a hot topic of conversation in 2027.
Having recently signed a new contract with Bayern until 2029, Karl has found himself struggling for game time this season under Vincent Kompany. The emergence of newcomer Ismael Saibari has seen the young midfielder slip down the pecking order.
Furthermore, Bayern's hierarchy is reportedly unhappy with Karl's conduct off the pitch. Club president Uli Hoeness has publicly addressed the issues concerning the player's behaviour.
"I intend to have a serious talk with him. He is far from being a superstar. Young players need to be more humble. Comparisons with Michael Olise aren’t doing him any favours. There is still a massive gap between them.”
Top clubs across Europe are ready to pounce on this situation. Aside from the Premier League giants, Spanish sides Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to be keeping tabs on the burgeoning talent.
