Erling Haaland once again proved to be Manchester City's saviour, restoring his team's lead in the 2026/27 Premier League match against Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium.
After the visitors equalised through Daizen Maeda (1-1), it was the Norwegian striker who showcased his scoring instinct by regaining the advantage for the Citizens.
In the 34th minute, midfielder Mateo Kovacic made a smart run into the penalty area, leaving his Ipswich marker for dead. The Croatian playmaker perfectly assessed the situation and delivered a brilliant cross towards the onrushing Haaland, who expertly headed the ball home.
Haaland finished clinically from close range. This goal marked his seventh in the ongoing 2026/27 Premier League season, achieved in as many matches for Manchester City.
