The upcoming Premier League match against Everton will mark the debut of Chelsea's third kit for the 2026/27 season. This kit embraces a retro style reminiscent of the 1980s, including a throwback to the historic logo introduced by the late Ken Bates in 1986.
In celebration of this launch, the squad showcased a special training collection during their final session before heading to Merseyside. The training at Cobham was lively, kicking off with a warm-up in the gym before the players hit the pitch. Manager Xabi Alonso even took part in some ball drills with the team.
In terms of fitness, there have been no new injuries reported. However, the side will still be without captain Reece James, who is recovering from knee surgery and is expected to be sidelined for around three months.
The match between Everton and Chelsea will take place at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday, October 17, kicking off at 1:30 PM GMT. Xabi Alonso's men will be eager to build on their impressive 5-1 victory over Bournemouth. However, the Toffees have had a strong start to the season, remaining unbeaten in the Premier League and gathering 10 points from their first six fixtures—just as Chelsea have.
