Chelsea make Alex Scott their main target for the January transfer window

Chelsea have identified Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott as their primary target for a potential replacement for Enzo Fernandez this summer.

According to David Ornstein, the London club made several attempts to secure the English midfielder, but Bournemouth turned down bids in the range of £65–75 million.

Bournemouth have consistently made it clear that they have no intention of letting Scott go, despite his reluctance to sign a new contract.

Scott remains tied to Bournemouth for another two years. Therefore, Chelsea may revisit their interest in the 22-year-old midfielder come January, particularly if questions around Enzo Fernandez's future arise once again.
