Celta close to agreeing personal terms with Stefan Bajcetic for move from Liverpool

Spanish club Celta is on the brink of finalising a deal to bring Liverpool's young defensive midfielder, Stefan Bajcetic, back to Spain. This update comes courtesy of trusted insider Fabrizio Romano.

The Vigo-based side has nearly reached agreement on personal contract terms with the talented midfielder. Negotiations are now focusing on ironing out the last details of the employment contract, with Celta set to wrap up terms with the Merseyside hierarchy shortly.

For Bajcetic, this move represents a return to his roots; he came through the ranks at Celta's academy before moving to Liverpool in February 2021. A return to his former club will provide the young midfielder with the opportunity for regular first-team action in La Liga.
