Last season, the Cameroon international featured in 31 matches in the Premier League, playing a key part in helping Brighton qualify for the UEFA Conference League.

According to Manchester United, Baleba ranked in the top 8% of players in the league for total tackles and interceptions, and he also placed in the top 1% for successful aerial duels.

His contract with United is set for five years, with the option to extend for another year, potentially keeping him at the club until the summer of 2032.
