According to BBC Sport, Arsenal have compiled an extensive list of potential signings ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Over 20 prominent players featured in the Gunners’ transfer short-list, but ultimately, the club managed to sign only four from this list to strengthen their squad.
In the midfield department, Arsenal had a myriad of options. However, the hierarchy decided to secure Bruno Guimaraes, passing up on transfers for Elliot Anderson (who joined Manchester City), Sandro Tonali (who moved to Tottenham), and Alex Scott from Bournemouth.
Other notable targets during the summer window included Jan Diomande (who opted for Real Madrid), Bradley Barcola (who transferred to Liverpool), and even Chelsea's Joao Pedro.
In the end, Arsenal's final acquisitions were Bruno Guimaraes, Ezri Konsa, Christos Tzolis, and Illan Meslier, all set to bolster the team this campaign following last season's success.
