Former Premier League champion Chris Sutton believes Arsenal are the absolute favourites this season.
The Gunners have achieved maximum points in their opening three matches, conceding only one goal along the way. A standout victory came in the London derby against Chelsea.
Sutton is confident that no team can catch the Londoners despite rivals splashing hundreds of millions on transfers this summer.
“I don’t see anyone stopping Arsenal,” Sutton said in an interview with the BBC.
“They are very strong. Chelsea are a good team, but Arsenal always find a way to win.”
The Gunners' defensive solidity is already being compared to their historical 2003/04 season, and counting last season, the club's winning streak in the league has now reached eight matches.
“Can you stop Arsenal? I don’t think they can be stopped,” Sutton added, assessing other Premier League teams' chances at the title.
Fresh challenges lie ahead for the Londoners. On Wednesday, Arsenal will kick off their Champions League campaign with an away match against Italian side Napoli, and then they face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
