Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is keen on a return to the Premier League after becoming a free agent in June.
According to TEAMtalk, the 30-year-old Frenchman’s representatives have reached out to multiple clubs in England to inform them of his availability.
Clubs that have been offered Martial include Leeds, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Tottenham.
However, this initial contact does not necessarily mean that these clubs have started negotiations for the player. Martial’s camp is merely weighing up options for his career in England.
After mutually parting ways with Mexican side Monterrey in June, Martial now finds himself without a club and is eligible to sign with a new team even after the transfer window shut, since he is a free agent.
Martial enjoyed the most successful period of his career at Manchester United. He spent nine years at the club after joining from Monaco in 2015, making over 300 appearances and scoring 90 goals. During his time at Old Trafford, he lifted the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the UEFA Europa League.
Following his departure from Manchester United in 2024, Martial had a stint at Greek side AEK, where he netted nine goals in 24 appearances, before moving to Monterrey. His statistics in Mexico were markedly less impressive — just one goal in 20 matches.
Now, the 30-year-old forward is eager to embark on a new chapter in his career, specifically within the Premier League.
