Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa has appealed to fans not to rush their judgments on three new signings made on transfer deadline day.
Ugo Larsson, Manuel Angel and David Affengruber are set to be included in the squad for Saturday's match against Crystal Palace, but will need time to adapt.
Arbeloa explained that the players arrived with varying physical conditions.
Speaking on the matter, he said:
It’s a bit early for these three players. David has just been involved with Elche for the early matches in La Liga, while Ugo last played on August 12 and hasn’t been on the pitch since. The situation with Manuel Angel is similar—he hasn’t featured in pre-season.
They need a bit of time. They’ve just arrived. They will all be in the squad tomorrow, but we must show patience. They need to understand exactly what we expect from them.
Fulham secured the signings of Larsson, Angel, and Affengruber on the final day of the summer transfer window, with the first opportunity for them to debut coming against Crystal Palace in a London derby.
