Newcastle has unveiled a multi-year partnership with renowned French champagne house Taittinger. This deal aligns with the club's vision to elevate the premium experience offered at St James' Park, where substantial renovations costing £10 million have just been completed.
Taittinger will now serve as Newcastle's official champagne partner, with their products available in VIP boxes, corporate areas, and at select club events.
Fans and guests at the stadium can enjoy Taittinger’s Brut Réserve and Prestige Rosé, alongside English sparkling wine Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée.
The French champagne producer has a long history of collaborating with major sports and cultural events, including various football World Cups.
Newcastle bets on premium service
This fresh partnership comes shortly after the club invested heavily in revamping hospitality areas at St James' Park.
The club's hierarchy believes that aligning with internationally recognised brands will enhance guest services and strengthen Newcastle's commercial standing.
Commercial Director Dave O'Connor commented:
The Taittinger family has a rich history of involvement with prominent global sporting events. We are thrilled they have chosen to continue their journey in football with Newcastle.
Their decision to become our partner reflects the club's ambitions and our commitment to continuously raise standards. We look forward to creating a new level of premium service at St James' Park.
Taittinger praises club’s ambitions
Representatives from the French champagne house also highlighted Newcastle's unique status within English football.
Taittinger's Director in the UK, Mills Izby, remarked:
The Taittinger family is delighted to join forces with Newcastle, a club that is not only a symbol of English football but also holds a special place in the North East of England's identity.
This is an incredibly exciting time to begin our work at St James' Park. We eagerly anticipate sharing countless unforgettable moments with the fans.
The financial specifics of the partnership have not been disclosed.
For Newcastle, this deal represents another step in their quest for commercial growth and further collaboration with premium international brands.
