Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has opened up about his disappointment in Liverpool's transfer window, even with the enhancements made to their attacking line-up.
Carragher pointed out that while Liverpool's priority was to bolster their flanks, they successfully signed two wingers. However, he believes that Bradley Barcola's arrival does not adequately address the team's biggest issue: the lack of a natural right winger following Mohamed Salah's exit.
Liverpool has already secured Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for a guaranteed £106 million, with the potential for the total to rise to £123 million including bonuses.

“I think they did okay. The priority was to strengthen the flanks, and they brought in two wingers.
The real star is Barcola, but when you talk about replacing Mohamed Salah, he plays on the opposite flank. Right now, Liverpool has no genuine right-sided attacking player. We lack someone left-footed in that position, like Salah.
I am disappointed. I really don’t understand what we’re planning to do on the right flank. The squad doesn’t look balanced.
“Liverpool” lacks players in the full-back positions and possibly another midfielder as well.”
Carragher has previously emphasised that while Barcola is a talented player, his position does not meet Liverpool's most pressing need. The former defender insists that what the club really requires is a natural right winger capable of fulfilling Salah's role.
