Manchester City midfielder Enzo Fernandes has expressed his eagerness for more matches alongside Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian striker netted a brace in a Champions League win against Porto, with his first goal coming via a header assisted by Fernandes.
These goals have propelled Haaland to third place on the all-time scoring list for Manchester City, having now scored 167 goals. He also matched Sergio Aguero's club record for Champions League goals, standing at 35.
Fernandes spoke candidly about his teammate:
“Haaland is a beast. Every time I'm on the pitch, I will be looking for him. I hope I can provide him with even more assists.”
Having joined the team on transfer deadline day, the Argentine also extended his gratitude towards manager Enzo Maresca:
“I'm so grateful. I will give 100% in every training session and in every match to repay him.”
