David Moyes: Everton need new players, but I'm not sure we'll get them

Everton manager David Moyes has expressed his concerns regarding the depth of his squad in an interview with Sky Sports, highlighting the need for reinforcements as the January transfer deadline approaches.

The Scottish tactician pinpointed a clear lack of squad depth, calling for targeted signings to enhance the team's quality:

“We need players. Our squad isn’t large enough, and we must add quality in the areas where we can. I’m not sure we’ll be able to do it, but it’s certainly not for lack of desire or attempts.”

Despite their strong start to the season and the convincing cup victory, Moyes made it clear to the club hierarchy that without new arrivals, Everton will struggle to cope with the marathon of a long Premier League season.
