Bayern Munich plan to sign Leeds defender Tarik Mukharamovic for £60 million and scoop Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope for free. The Germans are seeking to bolster their defence and add an experienced backup for new first-choice keeper Jonas Urbig.

Bayern Munich have made an impressive start to the season under Vincent Kompany. The club's hierarchy is already planning their transfer campaign for 2027, with Leeds defender Tarik Mukharamovic as their main target.

According to TEAMtalk, the 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina international could cost the Germans over £60 million. He only joined Leeds this summer from Sassuolo for £34 million but quickly established himself as a key figure in the team. Bayern may make an offer as soon as January, although a summer transfer appears more realistic. Italian side Inter Milan is also keenly monitoring the situation.

The other transfer target for Bayern is 34-year-old Newcastle goalkeeper Nick Pope. The Englishman is not expected to have his contract extended, meaning he could make a move to Germany next summer for free.

It is anticipated that legendary Manuel Neuer will hang up his boots in June 2027. Jonas Urbig is seen as his natural successor at the club, but Bayern need an experienced backup rather than direct competition for the starting role, making Pope a perfect fit for their requirements.
