Amara Nallo has ended his loan at HIK due to a leg injury and returned to Liverpool for rehabilitation.

Liverpool defender Amara Nallo has returned early from his loan at Finnish side HIK following a serious leg injury. The 19-year-old will not play again this season.

Nallo joined HIK on loan during the summer, hoping to gain valuable first-team experience. However, he only featured in three matches before the injury - two in the Finnish league and one in the Europa Conference League qualifiers against Motherwell.

His last outing was on August 16 against Yaro, where HIK secured a 3-0 victory. Unfortunately, the defender has been sidelined since then, missing the entire month of September due to injury.

HIK has officially confirmed the termination of Nallo's loan, stating that he has returned to Liverpool to focus on his rehabilitation.

Previously the captain of Liverpool's U21 team, Nallo could be on the move again once he is fit. The club may explore options for a new loan, potentially to a Championship or League One side where he can get regular game time closer to home.

In addition to Nallo, several other Liverpool players are currently on loan, including Harvey Elliott at Valencia, Ifeanyi Ndukwu at Levante, Calum Scanlon at Cardiff City, and Armin Pech at TSV Hartberg.
