Aston Villa have officially submitted a concrete offer to Manchester United for the acquisition of 24-year-old winger Amad Diallo. This has been reported by African football source 225Foot.
The Birmingham club is keen to refresh and strengthen their attacking lineup ahead of the closing of the summer transfer window, and they see the Ivorian as the ideal candidate to play a key creative role.
Diallo joined the Red Devils from Atalanta in 2021 for a total sum of £37 million, inclusive of bonuses. His current long-term contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2030, with an option to extend for another season.
The winger boasts 23 caps and 8 goals for the Ivory Coast national team, and renowned portal Transfermarkt values him at €45 million. Reports indicate that interest in the player is also shown by AC Milan, Newcastle United, and Brighton.
