Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has praised the potential of his teammate, Kobi Mainu, stating that the young midfielder has what it takes to become one of the club's leading stars and the best player in the Premier League.
In an interview with Sky Sports, the Ivorian footballer highlighted Mainu's maturity and skill, despite his youth:
Best young player in the Premier League? That’s Kobi Mainu. The way he plays... He already has a lot of experience, and for his age, he’s just incredible, Amad declared.
Amad also emphasised that Mainu has shown tremendous hard work and character, managing to overcome a tough period under Ruben Amorim and proving his high level of play.
Kobi has also garnered praise from midfielder Carlos Balele, who admitted that Mainu unexpectedly surpasses him in speed during training. Balele noted that he enjoys the challenge of competing with him in sessions, describing Kobi as a “very strong player”.
