Before Iwobi, only four players had achieved this remarkable feat:

  • James Milner played 100 games for Aston Villa, 147 for Manchester City, and 230 for Liverpool.
  • Gareth Barry featured in 365 matches for Aston Villa, 132 for Manchester City, and 131 for Everton.
  • Rory Delap made 103 appearances for Derby, 116 for Southampton, and 134 for Stoke City.
  • Gary Speed played 142 times for Leeds, 213 for Newcastle, and 121 for Bolton.
