Omar Marmush has been convicted in England after failing to pay a fine for not insuring his McLaren 720S. The court has ordered the footballer to pay £408, including additional fees.

Tottenham forward Omar Marmush has been found guilty in England for failing to insure his McLaren 720S, valued at around £250,000.

According to British media reports, legal documents indicate that the footballer was issued a fixed penalty on June 17 after it was revealed that the vehicle was neither insured nor officially declared as off the road.

Marmush did not settle the penalty, leading the case to be referred to court. On October 5, a Teesside magistrates' court convicted the player, imposing a fine of £220, along with £100 in court costs and an additional £88 as part of a victim support fund contribution, bringing the total to £408.

The case was conducted under the Single Justice Procedure, allowing for certain offences to be handled without a full public hearing. Court documents reveal that Marmush failed to respond to the charges or indicate a plea.

Officials from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) attempted to reach the footballer at his former address in central Manchester.

Marmush plays for Tottenham on loan from Manchester City, with reports stating the agreement includes an obligatory purchase clause, which would see the London club secure his services permanently for £60 million at the end of the season.
