Liverpool defender Milos Kerkes has commented on the team's start to the Premier League season, urging the club to secure a win against Ipswich. He also praised the potential and speed of new signing Bradley Barcola.

Liverpool defender Milos Kerkes has stated that the Reds are working hard to secure their first victory of the season. This Friday, the team will face league newcomers Ipswich Town away from home.

The Reds have only managed to gather two points from their opening two matches, having conceded four goals and having to come from behind on two occasions.

"It's obvious that two points is not ideal. However, looking at the positives, we haven't lost any games. So, it’s all good, but we need to start winning matches," Kerkes remarked.

The player noted that the squad is analysing video footage to help improve their defensive performance.

The left-back also praised new signing Bradley Barcola, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain on Monday.

"He's a fantastic player, and everyone knows it. He’s had two or three training sessions, and you can already see his quality and potential for great improvement. He has the potential to be really good. He's exceptionally quick, a great dribbler, so I think he’s going to help us a lot," added Milos Kerkes.

Ipswich, managed by Gary O'Neil, have secured one win and suffered one defeat, having lost 2-5 to Manchester United in their last outing.
