Liverpool has confirmed an agreement to sign French forward Jilian N'Ghesan from Saint-Etienne.
The full transfer of the 18-year-old talent will become official in January. However, he won't be heading straight to Anfield.
The Reds have arranged for him to spend the remainder of the 2026/27 season on loan at French club Brest.
This move will allow the young striker to continue his development and gain regular game time at the senior level before making the switch to England.
N'Ghesan is a product of the Saint-Etienne academy. After making his debut in January 2025, he has featured in 13 matches for the first team, scoring one goal.
The forward also represented France in all seven matches at the 2025 U20 World Cup, where the national team finished fourth.
That summer, he was named in the U17 European Championship team of the tournament after netting four goals.
