Milan reject Coventry City's £8.5 million offer for Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Italian giants Milan have firmly turned down an official transfer bid from Coventry City for 30-year-old English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The rejected offer amounted to £8.5 million (€10 million).

According to Turin-based publication Tuttosport, the decision to block the move came directly from head coach Ruben Amorim. The manager values Loftus-Cheek's athleticism, versatility, and ability to link play within the tactical framework of a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Additionally, Milan's hierarchy are reportedly looking to initiate contract extension talks with the Englishman, aiming to secure his services until at least 2029 or 2030 in the coming weeks.
