15-Second Brief
Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, Milan, and Juventus are tracking 15-year-old Borussia talent Justin Edgodamen, who is being likened to Jude Bellingham.

Arsenal have entered the fray for the signature of 15-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder Justin Edgodamen, who is already being compared to Jude Bellingham.

According to TEAMtalk, the London club is closely monitoring the young player's development and views him as a potential future star.

Edgodamen is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in his age group. Scouts are impressed by his technical ability, physicality, ball control, and his knack for joining attacks.

Barcelona, Milan, and Juventus are also tracking the talent

Currently, Barcelona is seen as a key contender for the midfielder's signature, with the Catalan giants keeping a close eye on his progress.

Interest from Italian heavyweights Milan and Juventus is also apparent, as both clubs evaluate the possibility of a future move for the young talent.

Although Edgodamen was born in Germany, he represents Italy at the youth international level and also has the right to play for Nigeria.

Borussia keen to keep hold of their starlet

In Dortmund, there is confidence that they can retain one of their most promising academy products. The club plans to continue developing the midfielder within their youth setup.

However, the situation could change in April next year when Edgodamen turns 16.

As per current regulations, clubs in EU countries can sign certain European players aged 16-17. English clubs, however, cannot take advantage of the same mechanism and, according to TEAMtalk, would have to wait until 2029 if they wish to bring the player into the Premier League.

This could potentially give Barcelona, Milan, and Juventus an advantage in the race for his signature.

Arsenal and Chelsea continue to keep tabs

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal’s scouting department is thoroughly assessing Edgodamen's performances. Mikel Arteta’s project, the opportunities for the development of young players, and the ambitions of the London club could serve as compelling arguments for the Gunners if competition for the player intensifies.

However, Arsenal may need a long-term strategy due to the age limitations surrounding the player’s move to England.

In the mix is Chelsea, who are also monitoring the midfielder’s progress. The Blues have been actively investing in young talent over recent years, seeing Edgodamen as a potential top-level player.

While Borussia remain calm and hope to continue nurturing their homegrown star in Germany, the interest from leading European clubs could make the future of this 15-year-old midfielder one of the most notable transfer stories in the coming years.
