Arsenal are keen to enhance their attacking prowess in the forthcoming transfer windows, with a focus on securing two promising talents from the Bundesliga — Antonio Nusa from RB Leipzig and Igor Matanovic from Freiburg. The estimated total spend on these signings could approach £84 million.
According to Fussball News, the Gunners have been closely monitoring the performances of Nusa, a Norwegian left winger who has made a sparkling start to the season with Leipzig. He has also caught the eye of several other clubs, including Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and various top Italian teams. Arsenal are reportedly preparing an official bid of around €40 million; however, it’s unlikely that the German side will part with the player in the winter window.
In addition to this, Arsenal, along with Chelsea and Manchester United, is regularly scouting the 19-year-old forward Matanovic from Freiburg, who has been displaying impressive scoring form. His transfer value is estimated to be around £50 million.
