Former Newcastle United defender John Anderson has expressed his expert view on Nick Voltemade's loan move to Juventus.
According to Anderson, the chances of Voltemade establishing himself within Newcastle's squad have dwindled considerably. With the emergence of William Osula in the internal rotation and Joao Vitor's impressive start to the season, the arrival of Matias Fernandez-Pardo has effectively blocked the forward's path to the first team.
Anderson emphasised that moving to Serie A will be an ideal solution for Voltemade's development. In a European league known for its comparatively less frantic and physical style, the German will have the opportunity to showcase his talents while gaining regular playing time, something Newcastle could no longer guarantee.
