Liverpool have officially announced the signing of bradley barcola from psg. The 23-year-old French winger has signed a five-year contract with the Merseyside club.
The Reds have splashed out £106 million for the player, with an additional £17 million possible in bonuses, bringing the total potential transfer fee to £123 million.
Negotiations between the clubs dragged on throughout the summer, initially marred by disagreements over the player's valuation; psg rated Barcola at around £145 million but eventually settled for a lower figure.
Barcola becomes Liverpool's third significant signing this summer, following the arrivals of victor munoz and ronald araujo.
He also stands as the second-most expensive player in the club's history, just behind alexander isak, who was acquired from newcastle for £125 million last summer.
