Daniel Munoz explained his decision to move from Crystal Palace to Nottingham Forest, highlighting the strong squad, winning mentality, and ambitions of a club that reached the semi-finals of the Europa League last season.

New Nottingham Forest signing Daniel Munoz has opened up about his decision to join Oliver Glasner's side. The Colombian defender is excited by the quality of the squad, the club's ambitions, and their determination to chase significant achievements.

Munoz expressed his enthusiasm:

I'm very inspired because I see a lot of talented footballers here. Forest has assembled excellent players with great qualities and a high level of skill. I can't wait to hit the pitch, help my new teammates, and I believe we can achieve great success together.

The defender also highlighted the winning mentality at his new club.

He added:

First and foremost, this is a club of winners. When such expectations and this kind of mentality are present among the hierarchy, coaching staff, and players, it makes the club special.

Munoz further noted:

In recent years, the club has overcome a lot and seriously competed against other teams. They reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, and for the future, I think they are setting even more serious goals. That's exactly what I like about Forest, which is why I decided to move here.

The 30-year-old made the switch to Nottingham Forest from Crystal Palace for around £22 million, signing a three-year contract.
