15-Second Brief
Liverpool are close to acquiring Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG. Both players have agreed to contracts, and the French club has lowered its financial expectations, making the total transfers estimated at around £155 million.

Liverpool have made impressive progress in securing the signings of Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcola has already agreed to personal terms, while Mbaye has finalised a five-year deal.

Notably, French journalist Fabrice Hawkins reveals that Mbaye chose to join the Reds over a move to Bayer Leverkusen.

Negotiations between Liverpool and PSG are expected to gain momentum in the coming days.

The financial demands from the Parisians have considerably lessened; they initially sought around £145 million for Barcola, but that figure has now dropped to approximately £120-125 million.

Meanwhile, Mbaye's price has fallen from £45 million to £30 million.

When combined, the total cost for this double transfer could be around £155 million.

This development comes on the back of PSG bolstering their attack with new signings Magnus Ackliush, Ferran Torres, and Mika Godts.
