Defender Kyle Walker has described Phil Foden as the most technically gifted footballer he has ever played with.
The England international, having played for Tottenham, Manchester City and the national team, has shared the pitch with numerous global stars. In an interview with talkSPORT, Walker was effusive in his praise for his teammate's natural abilities.
When it comes to technical ability, Foden is certainly the best I have ever seen. I haven't had the pleasure of playing with Lionel Messi, but I’ve been on the same pitch as him. But Foden's natural talent, what he can do with a football, is simply incredible. I always come back to the thought: if Foden continues to play the way he does for Manchester City, then he will undoubtedly find himself in the England squad.
