Everton could bolster their attacking options even after the transfer window has closed. According to talkSPORT, one of the potential targets for David Moyes' side is former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Merseysiders attempted to negotiate the signing of Folarin Balogun from Monaco on deadline day, but the deal fell through. Everton also considered a move for Martial just before the deadline, but they were unable to complete the transfer.
Crucially, the Frenchman remains a free agent after leaving Mexican side Monterrey, allowing Everton to sign him even after the window has shut.
One of the concerns for the club is the physical condition of the 30-year-old striker. Should an agreement be reached, Moyes might only be able to offer Martial a contract until the end of the current season.
Martial is well acquainted with English football from his time at Manchester United, where he spent nine years, scoring 63 goals and providing 33 assists in 209 appearances.
The search for a striker remains a priority for Everton following the departures of Beto and Iliman Ndiaye.
