Manchester City manager Enzo Mareska has commented on the potential transfer of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez as the London club has reportedly set a deadline for negotiations at 17:00 GMT.

Honestly, I don’t think we will do anything today... He’s a player from another club, and I don’t think it’s right to speak about players from other teams.
Chelsea has reportedly issued a demand: Manchester City must submit an official bid of £120 million (€140 million) by 17:00 today. If they fail to do so, the Londoners will refuse to sell the player during this transfer window.
Mareska's statement indicates that Manchester City are not prepared to wrap up a deal within the stipulated timeframe. The situation is complicated by drawn-out negotiations regarding the sales of Rodri to Barcelona and Reinders to Al-Qadsiah, with funds from these transfers intended to facilitate the acquisition of the Argentine.
