Kamara was on the verge of joining the Blues, with both clubs having reached an agreement, but Monaco pulled the plug at the last moment. The French club later explained their reasoning, insisting they weren’t trying to pick a fight with the Londoners.
Returning to the principality, Kamara responded to the failed move with impressive performances on the pitch, strengthening his position. Sources confirm that Chelsea scouts are keeping a close eye on every match involving the 22-year-old since his return. Despite rumours of a complete breakdown in relations with Monaco, the club remains determined to land the player, and a January transfer is not off the table.
However, Chelsea faces stiff competition. Liverpool is among the five Premier League clubs closely monitoring the Senegalese star. The interest from the Merseysiders is no surprise, as the midfielder has been on their radar for some time.
Additionally, Crystal Palace, whose previous offer was declined, as well as Brighton and Newcastle United, are also watching the situation closely.
