Brighton's winger Yankuba Minte is still determined to make a switch to Liverpool. Despite the summer transfer window closing without a move, the player hasn’t relinquished his ambitions. This is according to Gambian football expert Baboucar Fallabou.
He still wants to join Liverpool. It all depends on how Liverpool expresses their desire to sign him.
Fallabou does not expect the 22-year-old to leave the Premier League anytime soon, with Manchester United also mentioned as a possible contender for the exciting winger’s signature. However, a major hurdle for a potential January transfer is Minte's current injury, which is set to keep him sidelined until October.
In August, Sky Sports reported that Brighton had rejected Liverpool's bids, with offers reaching £50 million and even £60 million falling short of their valuation.
During his first season at Brighton, Minte managed to score seven goals and provide five assists. In the previous campaign, he recorded three goals and four assists.
