Chelsea are resolute in their plans for winger Estevao despite speculation surrounding Barcelona's interest.
According to Football London, the club sees the 19-year-old Brazilian as a key figure in their long-term project. Reports from Spain have indicated that the Catalan giants are monitoring his situation due to a lack of playing time. Estevao has yet to start a Premier League match under new head coach Xabi Alonso.
In the league, the forward has only seen 23 minutes of action, excluding stoppage time, with none of his appearances lasting more than 10 minutes. He did start twice in the League Cup, but on both occasions, he was substituted before the final whistle.
Back in Brazil, there have been whispers of dissatisfaction from the young talent regarding his situation at Stamford Bridge. It has been suggested he might consider a move as early as January if he doesn’t secure a more prominent role in Alonso’s plans. Nevertheless, Chelsea's stance remains firm: they have no intention of letting the player go.
