Chelsea continue to actively contest Liverpool for the transfer of Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. In the summer, Chelsea offered £68 million for the player, but the club is now valuing him at £100 million.

Chelsea are firmly set on challenging Liverpool for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, despite the Reds establishing a strong position in this transfer race.

Last summer, the Blues showed considerable interest, making several concrete offers, with bids reaching around £68 million.

Currently, Bournemouth's hierarchy values the player at approximately £100 million. However, the club may soften their financial demands in January if their league position improves significantly.
