Antoine Semenyo risks missing up to eight weeks following an injury sustained in the match against Ipswich. According to Enzo Maresca, the results of the scans were more positive than initially expected.

Antoine Semenyo could be out for as long as eight weeks following an injury. Manchester City's boss Enzo Maresca revealed that the player had scans done after picking up the injury in the game against Ipswich, which saw City clinch a narrow 3-2 win.

Maresca noted that the results of the examination were not as concerning as initially feared. However, recovery is still expected to take around two months.

“After the scans, we felt relieved as the injury is not as serious as we had anticipated. He might miss eight weeks. The most important thing now is for him to get back to full fitness,” the manager stated.
