Andoni Iraola provided updates on Liverpool players. Hugo Ekitike could be back for the last two Champions League group matches, Bradley Barcola has no injury worries, and Cody Gakpo's readiness will be determined after training.

Liverpool's boss Andoni Iraola has given an update on the fitness of Hugo Ekitike, Bradley Barcola, and Cody Gakpo. Ekitike could return for the final matches of the Champions League group stage, while Barcola has escaped serious injury.

Speaking about Ekitike's recovery, Iraola said:

There’s a chance he can assist us in the last two matches of the Champions League group stage, but it’s still too early to say.

Barcola left the pitch during a Champions League match due to cramp, but the French winger is not facing any major issues.

Iraola explained:

We have another training session later today. Barcola had cramp, that’s all. We need to assess him after training, but there’s no injury. I think if all goes well, he will be available.

The status of Gakpo remains uncertain for the time being.

The gaffer added:

As for Cody, we’ll see. We’ll try to assess his condition today and figure out if he’s ready for tomorrow’s match or if we’ll have to wait until the next one.
