New Manchester City signing Allan has revealed that Vitor Reis reached out to him to offer support as he adapts to life in England. Both players hail from Palmeiras, and Reis made the switch to Manchester earlier in January 2025.
Allan spoke in an interview with the club:
Vitor Reis messaged me even when my transfer was just a rumour.
We haven't had the chance to discuss how things work here yet, but he mentioned that after my arrival, he would definitely set aside some time to chat and explain how everything operates.
The 20-year-old Reis has spent over a year and a half in England, positioning him well to assist his former Palmeiras teammate in quickly acclimatising to his new surroundings and team.
Allan has signed a five-year deal following his move from Palmeiras to Manchester City.
