According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners had their eyes on the talented player even before Newcastle sealed his transfer. The London club's scouts are continuing to track the progress of the 20-year-old in the Premier League.

However, Newcastle have little incentive to part ways with their promising forward. The Magpies acquired Toure in July for around £43 million, and he is under contract until 2031.
