Roma are reportedly considering a loan deal for Chelsea winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens until the end of the season, as confirmed by Tuttomercato.
Since his switch from Borussia Dortmund in July 2025, the young Englishman has struggled to secure a spot in the starting XI at Stamford Bridge. His debut season was further complicated by a hamstring injury, hampering his progress.
Injuries hinder progress at Chelsea
In his first season with Chelsea, Bynoe-Gittens made 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing five assists. Unfortunately, the current campaign has brought more injury issues, making his adaptation even tougher.
With Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso having several options on the flanks, the club may consider allowing the winger to leave temporarily in search of more first-team action.
Potential loan in January
According to Tuttomercato, Roma is keen on securing Bynoe-Gittens on loan until the season's conclusion. This arrangement could provide the player with the opportunity to regularly showcase his talent while reigniting his career following a challenging period in England.
