Nik Woltemade was Bayern Munich's primary transfer target in the summer of 2025. At that time, the deal fell through due to Stuttgart's high financial demands. Instead of moving to Munich, the German international joined Newcastle United for €75 million.
Since then, circumstances have changed. Woltemade is currently on loan at Juventus but has struggled to secure a regular spot in the first team.
Football expert Andy Brassell believes a switch to Bayern remains a possibility.
In an interview with talkSPORT, Brassell stated:
I still believe that Woltemade will eventually end up at Bayern. Even before his move to Newcastle United, there was confidence that he would go there. And at Juventus, he has faced a tough start in a rather chaotic situation.
Brassell asserts that Bayern could benefit from this downturn:
I think Bayern will be monitoring the situation and pondering, 'In the future, we might be able to sign this player we wanted at a more advantageous price.'
TalkSPORT also suggested Woltemade as a potential successor to Harry Kane. However, there are no concrete confirmations on this yet, and it remains unclear if Bayern is currently pursuing this transfer aggressively.
