Manchester City are gearing up to ramp up their efforts to secure the signing of Enzo Fernandez as the transfer deadline approaches. Reports suggest that a bid for the midfielder is set to become one of the club's main priorities.
The potential deal is estimated to be worth around £120 million. Chelsea are willing to consider selling the 25-year-old Argentine, while Fernandez himself is eager for a switch to Manchester City.
The London club are already exploring options in case they do part ways with the midfielder. One priority target is Lamine Kamara from Monaco. Although work on that transfer has slowed somewhat, a deal remains a possibility.
Simultaneously, Chelsea are also keeping their eye on Manu Kone from Roma. The club is weighing up both players but currently has no plans to sign both Kamara and Kone. Most sources suggest that Kamara is the more suitable option to replace Fernandez.
In addition, Malo Gusto has caught the attention of at least two other Premier League clubs. The Frenchman has been utilised in midfield this season, meaning his potential departure could complicate Chelsea's options in that area even further.
With the transfer window nearing its close, Chelsea are also looking to find career opportunities for at least six players. Among them are Robert Sanchez, Marc Guehi, and Mykhailo Mudryk. Pedro Neto, however, is not keen on leaving the club despite ongoing interest from other teams.
