Liverpool will cover a €5 million solidarity payment to Lyon on top of a £123 million deal with PSG for Bradley Barcola. This transfer will be among the most expensive in the club's history.

Liverpool are on the brink of sealing a record move for 23-year-old winger Bradley Barcola from PSG. The club has agreed to cover additional expenses amounting to approximately €5 million, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The clubs have already settled on a base transfer fee, which will stand at £106 million guaranteed, plus an additional £17 million in potential bonuses.

During direct negotiations with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Liverpool's hierarchy agreed to pay the solidarity contribution to Lyon for developing the player, meaning the French club will receive between €4.5 million and €5 million on top of the initial deal.

This transfer is set to become one of the most expensive in Liverpool's history, with the total expenditure reaching around £123 million.
