Leeds United have reached a verbal agreement with German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt for the transfer of winger Jean-Matteo Bayo. According to BBC Sport's Nizar Kinsella, the transfer will be structured as a loan with an obligation to buy for £25.7 million.

The hierarchy at Leeds are racing against time to get all the legal paperwork in order ahead of the transfer window closing, with the aim of strengthening their attacking flanks.

A successful signing of Bayo would pave the way for Italian winger Willy Gnonto's move to Fiorentina, which must be registered by 7:00 PM British time due to the earlier deadline in Serie A.
