Winger Geovany Kenda is confident that he will play a prominent part in Xabi Alonso's tactical setup at Chelsea this season, as reported by British journalist Bobby Vincent.
The 19-year-old Portuguese midfielder has seen only brief moments on the pitch, making a cameo in the opening match of the season before being sidelined or left on the bench for the following four fixtures.
However, Kenda has no injury concerns, with his absence on the field down solely to the tactical choices of the Spaniard, who is gradually integrating new signings into his game plan.
Having joined Chelsea last summer, Kenda is still adjusting to life in the capital. Despite his limited game time at the start of the campaign, the young player remains highly motivated and is determined to prove his worth at Stamford Bridge.
