Brighton manager Fabian Huerzeler has spoken out regarding the uncertainty surrounding Yankuba Minte's future.
The German coach confirmed that the winger is currently a member of the squad but did not rule out the possibility of changes before the transfer window closes.
Huerzeler stated:
He is a Brighton player, and at this moment, I don’t have more to add. I appreciate that once the transfer window shuts, he will be completely devoted to this club.
The manager also acknowledged that he had spoken to Minte about the interest from Liverpool and other clubs.
Huerzeler added:
Of course, players always have their dreams and desires. But ultimately, we need to understand what is best for the club. So we had a chat. For now, he is definitely remaining a Brighton player. I can’t say more, so we'll see what happens.
