15-Second Brief
Enzo Marreska is confident Manchester City can compete with PSG. The manager acknowledged his team's struggles in the first half but noted improvements in performance after the break.

Enzo Marreska, the manager of Manchester City, is convinced that his team can compete with PSG, even after a 4-2 defeat in the Champions League.

The English club conceded three goals in the first half but came out strongly after the break, creating a plethora of dangerous chances. Erling Haaland netted a brace, but it wasn't enough to rescue the match.

"It was a strange game. Two goals in two minutes caused us problems. We found ourselves in a tough spot, but in the second half, we created so many chances. We played well after the break," said Marreska.

The Italian highlighted that his side lacked balance and proper distances between players in the first half. However, adjustments made at half-time led to a significant improvement in their performance.

"Against teams like this, if you don't play evenly and accept the challenge, difficulties arise. We needed to be bolder. That's how we played in the second half," explained the City boss.

Despite the loss, Marreska remains confident in his team's potential and believes that the gap between Manchester City and PSG isn’t as large as the final score might suggest.

"Honestly, I think we are already close to them. Playing against PSG is always tough, and conceding two quick goals makes it even harder. We can learn lessons from this game and move forward," concluded the manager.
