Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has commented on Erling Haaland's excellent start to the Premier League, with the forward scoring three goals in three matches. The manager noted that becoming a father has transformed the Norwegian, making him a complete man and family figure.
Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has praised Erling Haaland's impressive form following the striker's stunning start to the season.
In just the opening three games of the Premier League, the Norwegian forward has already found the back of the net three times.
"Now he’s a man, he’s a father," said Maresca.
"When he arrived here, he wasn’t a father. Now life has changed, his priorities have completely shifted because he’s a dad. I’m really happy for him; he was already at the top as a player and as a bloke," the coach noted.
He continued:
"But now you can see he has become a well-rounded individual. A family man and still banging in the goals. I'm really chuffed for him."
