- Mark Schwarzer holds the absolute record: the Australian played his first match for Chelsea in April 2014 at the age of 41 years and 195 days.
- Jerry Payton comes in second, having debuted for the Blues in January 1993 at 36 years and 255 days old.
- Willy Caballero rounds out the top three, making his first Premier League appearance for the club in January 2018 at the age of 36 years and 114 days.
The World Cup winner joined Chelsea from Aston Villa during the current summer transfer window and immediately secured his spot in the starting lineup, tasked with providing reliability and stability at the back for the team.
